Analogue Classics – Tribute Album

I’ve been doing this for a long time, and over the course of my career certain songs have both haunted and inspired me.

The idea for ‘Analogue Classics’ came to life in 2011 when I started releasing singles from my ongoing labour of love ‘Analogue Verses’.

I imagined an adjunct/companion album, of sorts, that would help inform listeners as to the roots of my sound.
‘February Stars’ is probably the ‘newest’ of the songs I’ll be tackling, but it’s still near and dear to me after 20yrs, so it felt like a great choice to start with. Always poignant, the timing couldn’t be better.

You can expect to hear some pretty eclectic sounds in the next while, inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, Soundgarden, The Stones, The Beatles, The Cars, David Bowie, and the list goes on.

But for now, back to Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters – this is one of my all time favourite ‘deep cuts’.

I hope you dig it!
